The Life Series: Faith - Part One
What is true faith? A common understanding of faith is that it is a belief or persuasion that something I cannot see actually exists. Some go on to say that faith is the persuasion that influences our actions, where we do certain things because of what we believe. However, if this is the case, what makes the Christian faith different than that of false religions? All faiths believe certain things, and believers perform certain actions because of what they believe. What makes the Christian faith true?
When defined Biblically, faith is not just believing in something unseen and acting upon the basis of that belief. Biblical faith establishes a connection with God Himself, which permits Him to express His unseen reality through us. In The Life Series presentation, the dynamic potency of Biblical faith is explained. True faith is not attempting great things for God in our own willpower, but it is connecting with God in an intimate way so that He can reveal Himself to the world through us!
“The truths included in The Life Series . . . weren’t normal, everyday truths. They were simple, but they were profound! I am a different person just from going through this series.”
