For the first time since originally published in 1984, the Wisdom Booklet series is being made available for anyone interested in gaining an appreciation for the practical application of God’s Word in our lives! Wisdom Booklet 2 expounds upon Matthew 5:1b-2 and how Jesus made a conscious decision to disciple the multitudes by communicating truth. This book shows how we can become disciples of Christ through developing self-control and learning important aspects of the Greek language for rightly dividing the Word.

• We will learn through the history lesson that the Revolt of the Maccabees was a tragic page in Jewish history and how we can avoid militant behavior as a follower of Jesus.
• We go on to explore the academic fallacies of humanistic philosophies on law, science and morality versus the absolute truths from God — the Source of all wisdom.
• We will discover why the mastery of math assists us in developing Godly character qualities and how the functions of speech relate to the principles of discipleship.

Each Wisdom Booklet explores and expands upon the meaning of verses from Jesus’ famous “Sermon on the Mount” as recorded in Matthew 5–7.
