Living on Borrowed Time: The Nine Practices of the Proactive Parent
On the evening of September 10, 2001, pilot Steve Scheibner was packing for his assignment to fly American Airlines Flight 11 out of Boston the next morning at 7:45. However, at the last minute another pilot, Tom McGuinness, voluntarily took Steve’s assignment. It wasn't until later the next day that Steve realized that God had spared his life. As a result of the impact of 9/11 personally in their lives, "living on borrowed time" became a reality for Steve and his wife, Megan. The Scheibners' life purpose is to disciple American families for Christ, realizing we all are living on borrowed time.
